Nursery overview
This Nursery staff are dedicated to supporting and teaching their children to discover their own unique talents and learn the important foundation skills for all future learning. Through a careful balance of formal learning and learning through play they ensure every child reaches their full potential and is both ready and excited for their future.
Their aim is to provide a safe, welcoming environment to all the children where they are supported in small groups by their Key Teachers. For our youngest children, they endeavour to ensure that the staff to child ratios are high and exceed Ofsted requirements.
With a big outdoor learning and play area that the children use on a daily basis, this setting fosters learning in all weather conditions.

We are seeking someone who has worked with children in a nursery setting or who is interested in becoming a CACHE level 3 Nursery Manager.

You key role and Responsibilities for this position :
- Effectively manage the nursery's day-to-day operations while adhering to all policies and procedures
- To ensure that all personnel adhere to these policies at all times.
- To ensure that they complete comprehensive safeguarding training and assume primary duty as the nursery's safeguarding coordinator
- Develop effective relationships with parents and present them useful nursery information on a regular basis.
- Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners
- You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
- You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children
Your primary Requirements to get cleared for this role:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Relevant experience working with children (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
- A true passion to work with children and create safe and happy environment
- Able to display sensitivity and patience
- CACHE L2/L3 is a bonus but direct Nursery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of EYFS
