Position: Support Worker
Location: Hackney
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Sun, including weekends, evenings, holidays and sleep ins).
Salary: £23,365.24 per annum

Advance is looking for a Support Worker in Hackney to support customers with Learning Disabilities/ Autism/ Complex needs/ mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Day to Day Activities:
- Our Customers are older adults age from 55 – 72.
- Personal care
- Medication administration
- Support to prepare and cook meals
- Support to attend medical appointments
- Support with social activities
- Support with independent skills
- Support to maintain living environment
About the candidate
You don’t need to have previous experience working in care or support to be successful in this role. What matters are your values, your passion and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with Autism or learning disabilities.
Whether you want to work a few hours a week, or full-time, if you think a Support Worker role sounds right for you, you will need to be:
- Flexible to work on a rolling rota.
- Good at working on your own and within a team
- Excellent at communicating with people.
- Able to complete good quality support records.
- You will be able to work weekends.
- You must be able to offer sleep ins
- Candidate should computer literate
- Must have an understanding of care plans
- Must be able to work closely with other outside agencies such as social workers and other health professionals.
