Job Description SALARY£26,168-£31,245 Per yearWORKING HOURSMin 30 hours per week (flexible) - Pro rata salaryEMPLOYMENT TYPEFull-time, Part-timeJOB LOCATION Benfleet, EssexDESCRIPTIONTo support the Chief Executive and Charity in ensuring the effective financial and administrative management of the organisation.To provide timely and accurate financial management reporting, advice and adherence to best practice.To be an integral part of the delivery and success of Carers Choices services.DUTIES:Preparation of Sales Invoices in a timely fashionProcessing of Purchase InvoicesPerform daily bank reconciliationsRecording accounts payable and accounts receivableMaking payments to suppliers using online bankingArranging for banking of cheques to be doneDealing with payroll, expenses, pension contributions PAYE and VATMaintain a controlled petty cash systemProvide CEO with regular financial reports i.e., Budget Variances, Aged Debtors etc.Minimise bad debts and maintain positive cashflow through efficient credit controlEnsure accuracy of the financial recordsAnswering and directing service queriesTaking payments from ClientsManaging accruals and prepaymentsDeveloping knowledge about the services delivered by Carers Choices to better assist clients and staff with queriesTo perform other tasks allocated as appropriateREQUIREMENTS:5 years’ work experience in accountancy desirableIdeally you will be AAT Qualified or similar, however the charity can consider those without qualifications with good experienceExcellent verbal and written skills with a confident telephone mannerExperience of Accounting systems, ideally XeroFamiliarity of accounts and preparing manual journalsExperience of running payroll servicesExperience of multiple departments with cross chargingStrong organizational skills and excellent time management skillsThe ability to work well as part of a team as well as working individuallyGood level of computer literacy on Microsoft products and CRM systemsAccuracy and attention to detailDrive and commitmentFlexibility as well as a professional approachThe ability to work on own initiativeJOB BENEFITSStakeholder Pension matched 4%Friendly office environmentFlexible workingModern air-conditioned officeBlue light card discountsPLEASE NOTE CARERS CHOICES IS A NON SMOKING ORGANISATIONCLOSING DATE10th August 2023PDF EXPORT Export as PDFAdd fileIf you have a CV or other information you can upload it here (.pdf or .doc files)I am not a robotSEND APPLICATION Apply Go Back
