About us
The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.

The role
The role of Warehouse Assistant will be working closely with the Manager delivering the tactical objectives for the function. The role is tactical and has direct accountability for delivering the day to day activities in the warehouse such as sorting through donated items and ensuring effective packing and distribution to our retail outlets. You will be part of a high functioning unit where teamwork is key so you will liaise with multiple people on site and in the wider retail network to achieve the required objectives.
This role is subject to a basic DBS check
Person Specification:
The role holder will be organised and have a strong work ethic. The ability to communicate effectively is critical whilst also being able to perform your duties in a safe manner. This is a labour intensive role and will involve manually moving large amounts of stock, specifically processing textiles which includes compressing stock in a big white sack from above using a ladder to achieve 200kg weighted bags.
