Posting Description

Third Party Relationship Management (TPRM) team is the primary contact of third-party relationships which are managed on behalf of our clients, consisting of brokers, custodians and market utilities. We develop and sustain effective working relationships to ensure the highest quality of service from third parties is delivered in line with client expectations.

Interactions include review of Custodian and Broker’s performance across services and products, deliverables achieved, opportunities for improvement, benchmarking of third-party universe, as well as understanding and dissemination of appropriate market changes and updates to clients, brokers and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management of third party providers – Custodian, Brokers, Counterparties, Prime Brokerage, Clearing Brokers and Market Utilities.
  • Perform deep dive data analysis to identify trend related issues and seek opportunities for third party service and performance improvement, versus their core performance indicators
  • Deliver third party performance reviews both in person and on the phone, and manage the governance environment around meeting reviews, minutes and action owners.
  • Escalation management for service/theme related issues as well as imminent items impacting business which are raised at a Client Service level
  • Profile management of third parties – Service offering and product supportability, as well as third party and vendor access requests to their portals and its recertification to comply with risk and control requirements.
  • Attendance and participation in forums hosted and run by third parties and vendors
  • Notification/Tracking market or regulatory changes and developments across third parties and vendors

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience on client service / relationship building skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of diverse groups, both internally and externally
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interaction with Relationship management peers externally and internally
  • Results orientated with ability to deliver against KPI’s and client SLA’s
  • Flexible, organized attitude towards work with the ability to prioritize workloads while working under pressure to manage change and competing demands.
  • Attention to Detail alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to connect with operations and client facing teams to influence current state mindset, help them adapt to a changing environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Product knowledge particularly of Equities, Fixed Income, Cash Markets, FX, ETDs, OTCs and general trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Collateral Management, as well as Claims Investigations, Overdraft Reporting and Cash Management reconciliations
  • Understanding of IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) for investment funds
