We are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join our clients team and take ownership of maintaining a portfolio of SME customers. Your Responsibilities:
- Manage invoice queries for your portfolio, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for speedy resolutions.
- Proactively contact SME customers through various channels to chase aged debt and meet set call and DSO targets.
- Utilise Excel daily for generating statements and reports, ensuring accurate data analysis.
- Collaborate with line managers to reconcile complex customer accounts and find efficient solutions.
- Suggest changes and improvements to existing procedures, driving positive changes within the team.
- Maintain excellent communication and negotiation skills to provide a top-notch customer experience.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Over 2 years of experience in credit control, demonstrating proficiency in handling credit-related responsibilities.
- A track record of working towards and achieving set targets, showcasing your dedication and results-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in handling debt collection conversations with customers, displaying tact and diplomacy.
- A self-motivated and proactive attitude, along with excellent prioritisation skills to efficiently manage your workload.
- Confidence in proposing changes and improvements, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills, allowing you to analyse financial data and communicate effectively.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP's, for accurate data analysis.
