We have invested in Marketing because it is mission critical for our business and your mission will be to strengthen the Kuehne+Nagel positioning in the market, create awareness and support customer retention as well as to generate and nurture leads for our Road Logistics, Customs Services, Contract Logistics and Integrated Logistics services (portfolio 2) in the UK . You will be a valuable member of a virtual global team and report directly to the Global Marketing Manager for portfolio 2 while fully aligned to the UK. You will be an expert advisor on how to best implement the global marketing strategy locally and deliver local tactical activities to drive the country ambition too. There’s a lot to learn about who we are as an organisation; the portfolio you support and the market you support but that does not phase you. You will feel the support of your Global Marketing Manager and you will build an amazing network within the UK.
- Work with Sales and the Business Units to develop the portfolio 2 country marketing tactics plan which supports UK, regional and corporate Business Unit goals.
- Develop and execute successfully online marketing campaigns for awareness creation, brand positioning, lead generation, nurturing and retention, using paid and organic channels.
- Create creative briefs for the Center of Excellence for the creation of content and design of successful marketing assets such as direct mailings, flyers, guides, web content, landing pages, ads, videos, podcasts etc.
- Create paid media campaign briefs for external agencies including definition of goal, campaign journey, target audiences, channels, and planned budgets.
- Plan and execute customer webinars and participation in selected exhibitions in close collaboration with local stakeholders and the CoE.
- Define and monitor the lead management processes.
- Ensure a high search engine ranking of country websites for focus topics through SEO.
- Define relevant KPIs, monitor those closely for continuous optimisation as well as for future improvements.
- Provide regular reports and analyses of campaign performances to respective national stakeholders and set-up regular exchanges on marketing developments.
- Take the lead in the portfolio 2 team for one focus topic globally and collaborate with the respective BU stakeholders on cross-country activities, such as creation of a value proposition, creation of templates etc.
- Education: Bachelor or Master of Marketing or similar
- Minimum: 3-5 years working experiences in Marketing (online/offline)

Logistics experience is not required - Strategic thinker
- Proven track record of successful planning and executing paid and non-paid campaigns, including A/B testing and optimisation measures
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and read relevant KPIs, work with dashboard for continuous improvement
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Familiar in working in a CRM
