Disability Assessor - Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic

- Salary: £35,000 up to £38,000 with OTE of £41,800*
- Salary commences at £35,000 increasing to £36,000 with additional 2 x £1000 salary increases based on succession completion of internal training taking basic salary to £38,000 plus yearly performance related bonus of 10% (paid in quarterly instalments based) yearly OTE of £41,800!

You will undertake training for the first 6 weeks in all aspects of working as a Nurse Assessor and after this, you will, from the comfort of your own home, conduct clinical assessments for claimants who are making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
Recognized by the governing councils so able to maintain your NMC / HCPC pin from the comfort of your own home!

What will I be doing?
- Conducting paper-based assessments to evaluate how a claimant’s/customer’s health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
- Reviewing and reporting on an individual’s ability to carry out activities.
- Analysing and interpreting clinical information and supporting evidence.
- Creating three reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant each day.
- Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support the DfC or DWP in making decisions.
- Developing your clinical knowledge.
What do I need?
- Post-qualification 12 months experience in one of the following: Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or OT.
- Have an active registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice.
- No previous Disability Assessor experience is required as training is provided.
