HR Star is currently searching for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to support our rapidly growing team in Cheltenham. In this role, you'll work closely with our Recruitment Manager to help drive vital recruitment support.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing administration support for our STAR Search talent team, including creating job adverts, screening, and shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and liaising with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Assisting the HR team in people-related tasks such as issuing new starter documentation, collating employee data, and coordinating and conducting inductions. Generating reports for both internal and external purposes, including monthly attendance figures and people data reports. Maintain and update employee records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Recruitment is a complex subject. Sales is a part of the job, so an essential requirement is to work in a fast-paced, high demanding environment. The other part of the role is delivery. You’ll need to have superb attention to detail, the ability to understand the detail of the job, the nuances of the employing company, and how to assess candidates for suitability. Communication is crucial to succeed in all these areas, so you’ll need to confident in written and verbal communication.
