We have an exciting 12-month contract opportunity within our Projects & Change Team which supports our Financial Management Group.
We are looking for an experienced project manager with ideally a background in Regulatory change across Treasury, you will have a solid background in manual process improvement initiatives or regulatory reporting (e.g., Capital and Liquidity). As a tenured project professional you will be confident leading cross functional teams from initiation through to project delivery.
As a key member of this team your remit will be to lead on full-service project management - leading and engaging in all project lifecycle phases. You will use your experience to develop key project artefacts, reporting and communications plans. It will also give you the opportunity to manage cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the group. You will also collaborate with colleagues in IT to develop and implement appropriate technical solutions, where required.
To be successful, you will be ideally university qualified with complex project management experience, across varied regulatory/ risk projects. You will also have:
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently.
- Knowledge of UK CRR, CRD VI and Basel framework would be desirable but not essential.
- Strong risk management and control mindset.
- Regulatory focus within financial services.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to develop complete, accurate and unambiguous documentation of business processes.
- Proven track record managing RAIDs, project budgets and benefit management.
- A flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ’Can do’ attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivate, lead, and influence a project team of indirect reports.
- Experience with financial markets (commodities, equities, derivatives, currencies, etc.) is an advantage.
- Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage.
- CA/CPA qualifications are an advantage.
