Who Are We?
Tanpopo Japanese Food are a well-established food manufacturing business specialising in Japanese Food based in Feltham who have been operating for over 25 years. We are currently seeking an HR Advisor to join our friendly and dynamic team.
THIS IS A STANDALONE POSITION
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
- Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.
- Overseeing training and induction programs for all new staff.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations to provide accurate advice and support to management.
- Advising seniors on salaries, redundancy and employment law.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations in handling employee data and other confidential information.
- Handle all employee grievances and disciplinary matters with fairness and sensitivity.
- Champion equality and diversity initiatives, promoting a culture of inclusion and fairness.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and take proactive measures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review and update HR policies to ensure they remain compliant with current legislation and best practices.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
- Deliver and execute programs that enhance employee relations, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Prepare and produce reports on pay and related metrics for the Managing Director (MD) and Chairman as required.
- Work closely with various departments.
- Implement necessary changes to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide HR and admin support and assistance to the Managing Director when required.
What We Are Looking For?
- CIPD Level 5 or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a standalone role or in a small HR team.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply them practically.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and levels of the organisation.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive HR matters.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS and Sage Payroll is advantageous.
