Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Edgbaston based client in their search for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join them on a long term temporary basis, offering an immediate start. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with the ability to take ownership of their own workload within a SME environment. This is a fully office based position.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
- Experience working as an Accounts Assistant/Finance Officer or similar level position
- Processing in-house payroll from start to finish (support will be provided)
- Processing starters and leavers
- Processing SSP, SMP and national insurance deductions
- Inputting payroll information
- Reconciling reports
- Submitting information to HMRC
- Sales ledger maintenance
- Credit control via phone and email
- Credit card and petty cash reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Support team with wider transactional finance duties
