REPORTS TO: Financial Controller
PRIMARY FUNCTION: General accounts duties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting Duties: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank, Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis, Payroll, VAT Returns, Costs analysis.
Other Accounting: Banking duties, Accounts Office administration, providing financial data or reporting to management for audit purposes, checking for financial irregularities, data entry errors and potential fraud, document archiving/storage (paper & electronic), Helping to cover or support the office when necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
EXPERIENCE: Essential: Previous experience in an accounting and business office environment.
Desired: Two years accounts experience, Manufacturing experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
· Proficient Microsoft Office User
· Sage 50 Cloud
· Accounting skills, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Payroll, VAT.
· Internal control procedures
· Must be accurate and detail oriented
· Multi-tasking ability and organizational skills
· Cost Accounting/Analysis
· Time management skills essential
· Retain a high level of confidentiality
· Good communication skills, both written and oral
· Comfortable with complex uploads and computer transactions
· Familiarity Manufacturing environment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Normal office environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
