Position Description

Volvo Truck and Bus Centre London North are currently looking to recruit a Service Driver Workshop Support Operative to join their team.

Salary - £15.61 per hour (42.5hrs per week)
Overtime @ time and a half
Hrs - Monday to Friday 11am to 2000hrs (1/2 unpaid lunch)

We’ll need you to:
  • To carry out duties as instructed by the Service Controller, to include supporting the service department with administration duties, collection and delivery of customer vehicles and road tests following workshop repairs.
  • To provide support to the parts department when required in delivering parts to customers.
To apply for this role you’ll hold a HGV and possibly a PSV Licence, will have excellent customer service skills.

The Ideal Candidate
  • HGV Class 1 licence (Possibly PSV)
  • Experience in MS Office, predominantly Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills
  • Must be able to prioritise work both independently and as a team, be self-motivated and well organised
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-orientated attitude
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • A friendly and approachable manner
