About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and expanding department. You will contribute to the teaching and research activities within the department by providing a wide range of administrative support. As this is a student facing role you will be the first point of contact and have an extensive impact on the student experience and student journey.
You will join an established support team in a busy office environment. You will also have the opportunity, throughout the year, to partake in field trips both domestic and worldwide in a student supporting role.
This is an excellent prospect to join a growing department and be part of its further development. There will be opportunities to train and further your skills as we highly encourage and support further personal and professional development.

About You
AsDepartmental Administrator, you will:
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team, but also on own initiative, displaying flexibility, creativity, innovation, and proactivity.
- Have experience of working in a busy work environment.
- Have a working knowledge of Excel and mail merge amongst other Microsoft office applications.
- Display excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop and maintain professional and collegiate relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders across the University and within the sector.
- Be able to plan, organise and adapt day to day administrative support in response to changing demand patterns.
