The Role
Using your fantastic customer service skills along with your passion for selling, you will gain an understanding of your customers’ needs and deliver as required. The business is looking for candidates who are performing in the upper quartile in their current role, which will need to be demonstrated at interview stage.
Duties will include:
- Assisting customers in finding their desired vehicle via the Mercedes-Benz online showroom.
- Contacting interested parties and customers by telephone and in writing to generate Sales Leads.
- Conducting face-to-face meetings and presenting the Mercedes-Benz range.
- Informing and advising visitors on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data, and other information.
- Evaluating used cars and conducting appraisals of customers’ vehicle.
- Assessing the condition of Trade Ins and ensuring all defects /damage reported and recorded prior to a Part Exchange price being agreed.
- Organising and carrying out test-drives and evaluate results.
- Involvement in sales events.
- Guaranteeing professional level of product presentation (price marking, accessibility, cleanliness, etc).
Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the Mercedes brand, must hold a full driving licence and have the right to work UK.
About You
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will have previous car sales experience and a stable successful career in this arena.
You will be well organised and be able to prioritise with excellent IT skills. Exceptional communication skills are essential along with the ability to develop relationships effortlessly.
On Offer
Salary is £18,000 with an OTE of £53,000, plus company vehicle.
Hours of work: 8.30 - 18.30, Monday to Friday, Saturday 08.30 – 17.00 with a day off in the week and alternate Sundays 10.00 – 16.00. (42.5 hours per week)
Weekend work on a rota basis will be required, however a 5-day week will be worked.
