Job Description
We are a busy, fast-growing poultry manufacturing company that requires an Accounts Assistant to provide administrative support to our accounts department. We require someone reliable, hardworking, has excellent communication skills, and pays attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Accounts/Admin team in ensuring daily duties are complete.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
  • Issuing sales invoices, Bank reconciliations, entering purchasing invoices, etc.
  • Calculate and check to ensure payments, amounts, and records are correct.
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily posts and answering any queries.
  • Managing petty cash transactions.-Controlling credit and chasing debt.
  • General office duties (answering the phones, photocopying, sorting the post, sending emails, etc.)
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Minimum AAT Level 3 or above
  • Previous experience in a similar role –minimum 12 months
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience with office-based computer systems and software
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritise responsibilities

Additional information
You will be located at our Head Office in Aldridge, West Midlands.
Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: Monday –Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
