Job Description

PPP is an organisation operating at the heart of health and life sciences policy delivery. We bring together senior leaders and practitioners in the public and private health and life sciences sectors to discuss and identify realistic solutions to the most pressing issues relating to the delivery of healthcare services.

Our independent research, events, and written reports are the result of effective collaboration between public and private sector organisations.

We help businesses to grow their profile within the NHS and wider public sector. In turn, we support public sector leaders and organisations with practical recommendations on implementing policy to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for local populations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as Marketing and Events Assistant. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to create marketing campaigns and initiatives, while also assisting in the planning and execution of various online and face to face events. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on, business-to-business experience in marketing and event management across the health and life sciences sectors. You will liaise with high-profile figures in these sectors, build and publish digital marketing content, and take the operations lead on certain projects in the health and life science arenas.

DUTIES

· Collaborate within the policy, events and marketing team and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness of PPP and promote our range of events.

· Assist in creating compelling marketing materials, such as brochures, reports, flyers and digital content, to effectively communicate our policy reports and events.

· Conduct desk research on key policy areas, gather relevant information on target audiences, and contribute to the development of impactful marketing plans.

· Support the management of our online presence, including website updates and social media content creation, particularly for LinkedIn and Twitter.

· Coordinate logistics for our events, including conferences, webinars, and roundtable discussions.

· Assist in preparing event materials, such as invitations, agendas, speaker bios, and presentations.

· Provide administrative support for marketing and event-related tasks, including budget tracking, expense management, and data entry.

SKILLS and who you are:

· Educated to bachelor's degree level

· Experience in events co-ordination, marketing, communication or public policy or a related field is preferred.

· Willingness to work in our London office as part of hybrid working.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Experience with social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn and Twitter)

· Experience and skills in online design platforms (eg Canva, InDesign, Adobe)

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.

· Ambitious with a keen desire to learn and progress
