About the role:
We are currently recruiting for a Head of Brand and Store Experience to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be at the centre of defining how customers experience the John Lewis and new John Lewis Partnership brand in designing and delivering experiences that bring together the best of our product, service and experience. These experiences will add differentiation, delight our customers and deliver commercial growth for the business. This includes the design of our stores, the development of store formats, ownership of market leading propositions, and related experiences, such as Christmas. You will oversee how we bring our brand to life to engage and excite customers in key moments.
You Will:
Own the development of brand propositions for the Partnership, and for John Lewis, curating the best of our product, service and experiences.
Own and develop the brief for hero propositions and be accountable for how the proposition is developed and communicated to our customers.
Develop the experiences and events strategy in line with both brand strategy and propositions.
Lead the development and delivery of a commercially viable approach to store design and space planning for all existing and new formats in support of the business plan and brand strategy.
Contribute to the strategy for store design direction and delivery of commercially viable store design solutions in a constantly evolving retail environment.
Influence business planning and portfolio to secure investment for this work.
Lead a high performing team in a way that is consistent with the Partnerships values.
Essential skills you’ll need:
Significant experience in developing brand led marketing propositions to deliver customer and commercial outcomes
Experience in store design and store formatting
Experience working in leadership roles within large retail organisations
Expert at influencing stakeholders at a senior level across Board, Exec and Directors
Experience of delivering large scale projects into a significant store estate
Experience in leading large teams of direct reports and in a matrix organisation
Experience working with complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders
Passion for the John Lewis brand and how it comes to life for our customers
