The Role – Social Media Assistant
Aquila Golf is recruiting for a Social Media Assistant to take full control of the social media channels for our golfing clients. This is an incredibly exciting role for someone with a passion for golf and social media with the freedom to be creative and deliver meaningful social media content for our wonderful clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating eye-catching social media content for multiple clients
- Planning and scheduling of regular social posts for multiple clients across multiple platforms – mainly Facebook and Instagram
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of our organic social media performance
- Regularly monitor our client’s social media platforms to identify and engage with potential and existing customers
- Research new trends and new platforms to ensure our offering is maximising all potential opportunities for our clients
- Managing the business social media channels and posting regular, engaging content to keep Aquila Golf in the public domain
- Involvement in producing email marketing campaigns for multiple clients
- Involvement in our wider digital marketing practices
Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn
- A passion for golf with a sound understanding of the golf club environment is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A creative mind with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Good knowledge of broad digital marketing disciplines and terminology
- IT literate and fully proficient with basic Microsoft packages
- Previous experience in creating and delivering social media content would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
- Knowledge and experience of using Canva would be desirable
- A willingness to commit to continuous learning and self-education is essential
- A positive attitude with a desire to work in the golf industry
Full time, permanent position
35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Remote and flexible working is available for the right candidate
The opportunity to visit golf clubs across the UK, attend golf events and network with people across the industry
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential. The only essential is a passion for golf…everything else we can teach you!
The company is based in Altrincham, Cheshire
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £15,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
