Our client is a manufacturer of high quality inks for the specialist printing and packaging industry, with a reputation for technical excellence and innovation.
To continue the growth and success of the company they wish to appoint a Sales Manager to take responsibility for the company’s sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maximising sales of printing inks, varnishes and sundries, with the best possible profit. Pricing authority remains responsibility of the Sales Manager.
- Establishing and maintaining contact to potential and existing customers with the target of fruitful long-term business relations.
- Solving technical problems at the customer’s location.
- Autonomous execution of printing trials as well as autonomous presentations of development products, documentation of the test results and the required assignments with the R&D laboratory.
- Close collaboration and common planning of activities together with the sales manager, sales department, product management, as well as with the Technical Service.
- Reporting, documentation, travel expense report and so on in each determined volume and time frame.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Candidate should ideally have a technical knowledge of Flexo printing.
- Minimum 3 years practical sales and/or technical experience in the above sector.
- Positive sales and negotiation skills.
- Distinctive communication skills.
- Dedicated commitment.
- Unlimited willingness to travel.
- Willingness to learn.
- IT-application knowledge (Windows and MS Office)
- Ability to work to dead lines
- Candidate should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
