An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Executive to join a dynamic team at a prestigious Worcestershire sports organisation.
The successful candidate will be tasked with achieving an individual seasonal sales revenue target and assisting with the delivery of the Club's commercial strategy.
The Sales Executive will be tasked with generating advertising, sponsorship and corporate and group ticket sales for the Club, with outbound sales activity being an important function of the role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be expected to be self-sufficient in terms of lead generation
Research/analysis of potential brands/companies
Keeping up to date with market trends
Collaboration with other commercial departments to identify potential targets for cross-sell
Attending networking and events
The candidate will be expected to manage a pipeline containing detail of all discussions with companies
Undertaking analysis on specific sectors & collating contact lists
Calling companies within target sectors to gather insight on their advertising requirements
Attend meetings at customer sites
The successful applicant will be expected to meet the following criteria:
Prior sales experience
IT literate and competent in Microsoft office, Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc
Ability to work alone and unsupervised in a dynamic environment
Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Self-motivated
Confidential and diplomatic
Full driving license essential
