Avesbury House is a low secure rehabilitation and recovery facility split into five independent living units, for males aged 18 years and older. We provide 24-hour specialist care and support for those with enduring mental health needs.
Our aim is to support residents to make the transition from group living in restricted environments, to managing their own tenancy in the community, wherever possible.
To share responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care for all patients as part of a multidisciplinary team approach.
Support nursing staffs. The role holder will be expected to participate fully with the clinical team and undertake direct patient care. The candidate will be supervising other nurses healthcare assistants and experience of this is essential.
Applicants must be self-motivated with good communication skills and leadership experience.
Applicants should have the following attributes/qualifications:
- Mentorship Qualification (preferred)
- The ability to lead and motivate others
- A genuine interest in quality service delivery and development
- The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Numeracy and evidence of analytical ability
Experience working in inpatient mental health settings
- Experience in completing audits
