Working with Hines, we are building a corporate venture capital organisation combined with a global Venture Studio that will build new technology businesses. In line with this objective, the Venture Studio has launched a new venture called CQuel. a platform accelerating the decarbonisation of commercial real estate by enabling property owners and their teams to identify the best electrification solutions and match them with proven providers.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to join the team and drive all of our sales and new business development activities in and from London. We are searching for someone with outstanding commercial grit and drive, a fast and agile learner, someone who likes to challenge the established truths, and someone who easily adapts to change. To succeed and have fun in CQuel, our new Sales Lead should feel a deep passion for decarbonisation / Net Zero and be able to live and nurture our key behaviours:

The Sales Lead will report to the General Manager and work directly with the rest of CQuel's co-founders. This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract.
- Drive the development and execution of a sales strategy for CQuel
- Prospect, contact and close all new projects, property managers and owners to the CQuel platform across all non-domestic property types
- Prospect, contact and close all Solution Providers to the CQuel platform across all different solution types (Electrification)
- Define, coordinate and execute go-to-market activities together with CQuel's internal and external marketing and strategy resources
- Manage and coach all additional sales and account managers in CQuel UK and assure that they thrive and develop in the best possible way
- Present CQuel in B2B events and trade fairs and give us a physical presence in London and the UK
- Establish networks and relationships in the 'long-tail' of commercial property industry (small projects, public and community buildings and their supply chains)
- Work closely with product to translate and share customer feedback
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, both in- and outbound (relevant sectors may include: building systems and hardware, sensors and building technology, small capital projects, or construction)
- Base-level understanding of property value chain & construction supply chain
- Start-up/growth business experience
- Some corporate understanding if possible
- Experience working across both the public and private sectors beneficial
- Good sales/GTM tools and resources, structured approach
- Experience in building new sales funnels across adjacent industries
- A personal interest in ESG and alignment with our drive for environmental impact
