The
Regulatory to Operations (R2O) Project Manager role contributes to the efficient operations of the team through monitoring and analyzing project and productivity data to drive prioritization and resourcing assignments. This role is accountable for R2O project strategy development, acting as a regional focal point for R2O, coordinating across projects to enable the efficient processing of regulatory supporting documents required for product registrations globally, with a focus on strategic business supply (SBS) projects. This role requires cross functional interaction with teams across multiple technical disciplines. Fundamental knowledge of products to perform document content quality review is also essential.
This role is inititally for 1 year.
Candidates should be results oriented and organized with a proven ability to work effectively within a centralized team environment as well as independently.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing project and productivity metrics on a regular basis to identify trends, action triggers and potential mitigating actions that are needed in consultation with the R2O Leader.
- Accountable for R2O project strategy development, coordinating across projects to enable the efficient processing of regulatory supporting documents; serves as an R2O SBS Project Lead and actively participates in project team meetings lead by the SBS Project Leader.
- Provides data analysis to the R2O Leader to help facilitate the decision for workload distribution, bearing in mind project prioritization and delivery dates. Monitors R2O tracker to ensure data issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitors requests to ensure follow up and processing in a timely fashion to meet business requirements and ensures communication of project status to key stakeholders.
- Proactively reaches out to appropriate subject matter experts, global, regional, or country regulatory staff, or operations as needed to gain clarity on specific requirements for document requests.
- Manages shifting priorities based on requests and document timelines.
- Participates in team meetings and effectively communicates with global regulatory and business staff.
- Champions continuous improvement within the team.
- Leads and/or participates in other projects or process improvement efforts as needed.
Job QualificationRequirements:- Minimum of a BS degree in chemistry, biology or related scientific field (or equivalent experience), or regulatory/legal degree.
- Proficient using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint as well as familiarity with database environments.
- Regulatory experience is preferred.
- Excellent project management and organization.
- Ability to follow and apply defined work processes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Previous technical or regulatory experience desired.
- Strong data analysis skills.
