Hall Green Infant School is looking to recruit a Family Support Worker for 2 days per week on a temporary contract until 31 March 2024 in the first instance. This may be extended depending on funding.
Hall Green Infant School is a four form entry school with a nursery class and was graded “good” in its last Ofsted inspection. Our pupils come from diverse backgrounds, their behaviour is excellent and they enjoy learning. The staff team are friendly and work hard to serve our children and to bring about the very best outcomes.
We wish to appoint someone who can;
- provide a preventative service to families experiencing challenging situations or circumstances that are impacting family life
- to work in a supportive and imaginative way in the context of Early Help and to support our families and children to achieve the best possible outcomes linked to their pastoral needs and EYFS/National Curriculum
- visit families in their homes to offer support and signpost families to appropriate services facilitating improved access and support to specialist services
- focus on attendance and family engagement working as part of the pastoral team and SLT
- holds a current driving licence
