As a Content Editor in our Member Marketing Communications team, you will play a key role in the end-to-end creation and delivery of our member communications. This includes using technical knowledge to build home and exit assets and prompts in our app and internet bank, whilst supporting with ad hoc email image edits and creation of landing pages. Having a good understanding of the channels, whilst being able to balance technical vs creative is critical to the role. Understanding the performance of the channels and continually optimising to drive greater personalisation to offer a better customer experience. You’ll work in a squad alongside our fantastic campaign managers to make this happen.

This role requires you to travel 2 days into the office, either Swindon, London or Bournemouth.

- Be part of campaign kick offs to understand the ask and what’s needed/expected. Providing technical knowledge to influence the approach.
- Build and testing assets as required throughout the project.
- Working with the team and other key stakeholders to help shape the technical production aspects of your projects.
- Interrogate the objectives of each project and the creative execution to ensure we’re building the right things the right way
- Ensure our policies, standards and governance are rigorously enforced, and that our build environments are as efficient and effective as possible
- Attend and contributing to workshops with colleagues, stakeholders and other subject matter experts. Provide training where needed to help upskill colleagues.
- Must have experience working with the SiteCore content management system, and proficiency in a variety of other tools such as Adobe creative cloud and Microsoft suite.
- Good understanding of web development and web usability best practices.
- Demonstrate ability to translate user needs and key business objectives into production or technical solutions that result in providing the best digital experience for our customers.
- Ideally experience of working in the consumer retail/banking space
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a cross-functional, multi-discipline environment with good influencing skills.
- Solid planning and organisational skills and ability to manage and own multiple competing deliverables
- Proactive and empowered to make decisions within a framework. Resilient in your approach, able to overcome setbacks and have a solution focused mindset.
- Being able to work in ambiguity and work in an agile environment.
