Our Marketing & Sales team have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Group Marketing Executive on a 12 month fixed term contract, based in either our Bristol or London office with some occasional travel to our other UK offices. We also offer hybrid working.

What you'll do
Reporting to the Lead Marketing Manager (Practice Groups) this role will involve providing marketing support to the firm's Business Transactions practice group, which includes our Corporate, Commercial and Financial Institutions Group legal practices.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing the timetable of BTG entries across the various legal directories includes:
- Liaising with the legal teams and using the Experience database to gather matter and referee content
- Reviewing, proofing and editing submissions
- Ensuring timely preparation and uploading of submission forms to meet deadlines
- Working closely with the specialist teams (communications, events, brand & design) to ensure successful delivery of general practice group marketing projects/events on time and within budget
- Implementing internal/external marketing initiatives in line with the firm's 3D strategy and the promotion of the firm's BTG service line expertise
- Adopting an 'international-first' approach where possible, liaising with international sales and marketing colleagues and co-ordinating service line marketing initiatives across multiple jurisdictions and with sector and transformation BD/marketing
- Generating focused mailing lists using the firm's CRM system, tracking activity and reporting on success
- Executing the repurposing of marketing content (e.g. legal insights, legal directory submissions, client case studies, media coverage, etc) for various channels, including working closely with the digital channels team
- Assisting with the gathering of copy for the practice group newsletters
What we're looking for
- Able to give clear instructions and understand and act upon appropriate instructions from senior management, clarifying incomplete/unclear instructions before acting
- Copywriting experience
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and assertive
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with people at all levels
- Excellent eye for detail
- Able to collaborate with others in the wider Marketing & Sales team
- Experience of using Powerpoint and Excel
