An experienced and knowledgeable Senior Project Manager or Resource Manager with a passion for optimising project delivery through effective resource planning within Digital Services at Lancashire County Council.
Our Digital Services team constantly strives to deliver new and innovative solutions that enhance the lives of our staff and residents. You will have experience in resource allocation and project planning across a diverse range of digital projects. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across digital services, balancing competing priorities, and limited resources, to ensure the successful execution of projects.
What We Are Looking For…
As our Digital Resource Manager, you will be at the heart of our project success, responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting resource plans using ServiceNow. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting and advising Project Managers, ensuring that projects are appropriately staffed, and resources are utilized efficiently to deliver exceptional results.
You will:
- Forecast and plan resource availability for upcoming projects, visualizing current and future resource availability on various levels (skillset, role, team, and individual).
- Advise Project Managers on refining and adjusting project plans to align with available resources.
- Collaborate with Line Managers to match resource requirements with existing team members, considering skillsets, availability, and individual development aspirations.
- Create, maintain, and adjust resource plans in ServiceNow, providing real-time visibility of resource allocations to support planning.
