Our Wednesbury Bakery and Distribution site is in the heart of the Black Country and our people are the Heart of The Black Country, our most precious ingredient. We opened our doors almost 25 years ago, and we are incredibly proud of our loyal and committed team. Today we have nearly 400 colleagues onsite, ensuring our freshly baked products are delivered to families across the UK daily!
We bake and distribute over 2 million loaves of bread each week and are committed to our high standards of Health, Safety and sustainability and have our own mini power generating plant that provides both combined heat and power to the bakery. Wednesbury is the Home of the Tiger Bloomer.
Join us and you’ll have free onsite parking, hot food served in the canteen, freshly baked products stocked in the kitchen for you to enjoy and a great bunch of people to work with. You’ll find us just off J9 M6 and M5/M6 interchange junction.
This is an exciting time to join us, you’ll be part of a supportive team who look after the site administration, day to day activities and who bring business initiatives to life. Most importantly, we have fun, we make things happen and provide an excellent support service to our colleagues throughout the business.
We have a strong commitment to our charity partnerships and have regular site and team activities to support our fundraising and commitment to the community. The site co-ordinator will play an active part in supporting and organising events and charity initiatives, both with our colleagues and our charity contacts.
You’ll be able to multi-task and juggle your priorities; in this role we can guarantee you’ll never be bored! With a huge variety of tasks ranging from general receptionist and administration duties to being our Community Champion, you’ll love making things happen!
- Able to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm onsite in Wednesbury
- Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and a bit of a whizz when it comes to pulling information together!
- You’ll love to build relationships and bring people together, able to work around diary planning, events, meeting new people and be a Warburtons Ambassador
- With all of the activities you’ll be involved with, you’ll be able to plan, organise and have attention to detail to ensure accurate, quality information is supplied when it’s needed
