Within the HR Talent Team we have a new and vacancy as an HR Business Partner. This position will be within our factory based in Enstone, Oxfordshire, supporting the Talent team on all related projects and activities.
HR Business Partner - The Role
In this newly created role you will support the talent team on their agenda to source, develop and retain the growing workforce at our state of the art facilities in the Cotswolds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support recruitment activity for certain vacancies – ensuring a partnership approach with the business to develop recruitment strategies (including appropriate attraction and selection methods)
- Diagnose people development needs across the business linked to business goals and priorities.
- Support an effective talent management approach to developing individuals across the business.
- Determine organisational needs through training needs analysis (TNA)
- Partner with the business to ensure appropriate learning and development solutions are implemented based on the TNA relevant to business and individual requirements
- Develop and effectively implement appropriate technical, leadership and soft skills L&D initiatives.
- Organise and project manage the delivery of internal development courses
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all learning and development courses
- Encourage and facilitate formal CPD to the requirements of IMechE, IEEE, etc
- Support Alpine Racing’s Apprenticeship Academy and utilising the Apprenticeship Levy as effectively as possible
- Promote the use of development plans that focus on learning and development needs.
- Continuing integration of Alpine Values into our people processes
HR Business Partner – The Person
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering in a business partnering role, preferably with a talent focus. They will be able to demonstrate a real passion for talent initiatives and be comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 5+ years generalist HR experience
- Level 5 CIPD qualified
- The ability to create a positive profile for yourself and the department with a ‘can do’ approach
- Be a high performer with the ability to remain focused and objective under pressure, working to strict deadlines with minimum supervision
- Be self-motivated, proactive, well organised with attention to detail
- A flexible approach to working time, in order to achieve self and team targets, within a fast-paced environment and with ability to remain focused, objective under pressure, working to deadlines and with minimum supervision
