Key activities:
- Take profit and loss responsibility for those projects allocated to you
- From resources available, draw together and manage teams to deliver owned projects
- To be accountable for the service delivery in accordance with business systems
- Through a recognised process, create strategic, operational and tactical programmes to demonstrate how projects will be delivered. Set and manage management and client expectations through clear communications centred around programme/construction programme, budget (internal / external) and the quality of services delivered during live projects until completion and post completion
- To manage the development of detailed Work Method Statements, Risk and COSHH and CDM
- To appoint, manage, monitor and co-ordinate consultants as required and the on site
- In accordance with contract forms, manage projects within the specified terms
- In conjunction with Purchasing Department colleagues prepare and issue documentation for schedules of rates, quotations, tenders and term contracts as appropriate. Carry out tender evaluations and check that returned documents conform to requirements
- Provide urgent management information when required, weekly up-dates and monthly management information for pipeline, cashflow, budgetary and ‘Gestion’ purposes
- To develop business opportunities within and external to the contract where appropriate
- To ensure that SLAs from subcontractors are met and exceed the requirements of the TFM contract and that sub-contracts are negotiated, reviewed and renewed actively and in line with the needs of each individual project.
Gather organise and provide information required for report purposes to meet all contractual obligations including KPI’s and maintain such records - To maintain all project administrative activities on site
- To undertake Authorised Person’s roles and participate in out of hours operational management team as part of Contract business continuity plan
- Manage supply chain in accordance with company policy and procedure ensuring formal performance feedback is provided to the procurement team
Skills & qualifications:
- Will come from a Hard FM background with an Engineering qualification to ONC / HNC in a relevant discipline
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment essential
- Strong track record of working effectively in a customer-focused environment and experience in the development of new business opportunities across the FM sector
- Must have experience of managing staff within facilities management and excellent communication
- Will have an understanding of statutory compliance and contract deliverables
- Will have experience of managing multi-functional teams
