This role will focus on:
As CI Lead, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring and enhancing business performance for our organisation. Reporting to the Technical Engineering and CI Manager, you will analyse our current practices and develop business process improvements to ensure we are continuously progressing towards our vision of being the world leader of fluid technology solutions, in targeted sectors, that value innovation and local expertise.
Responsibilities Include:
- You will analyse current organisation practices and develop process enhancement strategies to ensure continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Responsible for identifying and initiating improvement projects that align to the organisations vision and performance objectives.
- Encourage a culture of problem elimination, lean manufacturing and employee engagement by investigating shortfalls, issues and complaints within current business processes and establishing and implementing improvements.
- Create and implement systems to encourage adherence to improvement plans.
- You will be responsible for coordinating continuous improvement activities across the site.
- Responsibility for the Product and Process Flow/Value Stream Mapping for the organisation.
- Coordinate continuous improvement activities across the organisation.
- Utilise the skills and experience of the organisation to deliver savings in labour, yield and productivity.
- Reporting CI savings through various channels including Power Bi.
To be successful in this role, you will need:- You will be working towards or have obtained the Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Significant experience working within a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrable background in the successful delivery of CI programs.
- Experience in the management of projects from concept to completion with the ability to drive change within an organisation.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting data from various sources.
- You will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate, develop and coach teams.
- Proficiency in the use of common software packages including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI and Project). (If you do not have all of these its ok, we can train you)
