Junior Credit Controller/Credit Administrator - Property Management
Salary: £32,000.
Location: City, London
Hybrid: Flex but minimum 3 days in the office per week

Main responsibilities and requirements:
- Previous credit control experience preferably within the property management sector
- Assisting with the collection of Rent/Service Charge/Insurance and all other charges
- Run arrears reports/collection reports/aged debt off the system
- Manage and monitor aged debt and ensure this is being recovered.
- Liaise with Banking/Treasury to ensure receipts are being posted.
- Assist with preparation for internal arrears meetings to ensure arrears are reviewed on a weekly basis, which will resolve queries and ensure debts that are not being recovered are escalated.
- Ensure weekly conference calls are attended with the wider team
- Supporting the credit control team with referrals with solicitors
- Liaise with Accounts if charges need to be amended/refunds need to be processed.
- Ensure the client system is updated with comprehensive notes which should be easy to read for all (including the Clients/Asset managers) - Training will be provided.
- Work closely with London Team, ensuring debts are being chased, queries have been flagged and most importantly notes are up to date.
- Provide tenants with copy invoices/statement of accounts, carrying out simple account reconciliations and requesting assistance from Accounts if this becomes too complex.
- Deal with tenant queries and ensure these are passed onto the relevant teams, following these up if no resolution is sought.
- All other ad hoc duties that are required
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years previous recent experience working as a Credit Controller preferably within the property sector.
You will be well organised with an analytical mind and be competent using Excel up to V Look Ups and pivot tables. This leading UK firm look for people who are dynamic with strong interpersonal skills, able to take initiative and work as part of a team.
