This is exciting time to lead the recruitment team at the University of Reading.
In 2024 we will transition from our current applicant tracking system to SAP Success Factors. The Resourcing and Recruitment Manager will take the lead in shaping the candidate journey on our ATS and developing resourcing strategies to tap into diverse candidate pools. With over 4,000 academics and professional services staff we are one of Berkshire’s biggest employers. Our roles are as diverse as we are. Each year we recruit to a huge number of different roles including chefs, cleaners, gardeners, IT specialists, legal advisors, and of course academic positions.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Use their skills and experience of resourcing and recruitment to market the University of Reading as an employer of choice in the Thames Valley
- Provide innovative solutions to resourcing challenges in hard to recruit for areas such as IT and hospitality
- Work in partnership with hiring managers. Provide sound, practicable and authoritative advice and guidance on all aspects of resourcing and recruitment
- Shape the development and implementation of our new ATS, alongside our internal project team
- Lead the Recruitment team during a period of transition. Building knowledge and enhancing the skills of the team to meet and exceed our aspirations for recruitment at the University
