Job Description
You will work in the Treatment Centre or Booking Team Receiving patients within the Outpatient area or speaking to patients on the telephone. preparing patient notes for clinics and working alongside clinical staff to ensure smooth running of the outpatient clinics.

The role involves a range of administrative duties including registering patients on to the Patient Administration System, preparing the patient files for clinics and booking patient appointments.
This position may require cross site working.

To receive all patients attending the clinic, in a welcoming manner – acting as an ambassador for the hospital.
Update any patient information as necessary including GP details, addresses,
mobile numbers, checking the NHS National Summary Care Record (SCR) for demographic and residency details.
Electronically arrive patients on the computerised tracking system and navigate to relevant area of the Treatment Centre.
Update Trust IT systems e.g. E track, Somerset , PAS , Ecamis as required
To process requests for Interpreters and/or Hospital transport services
To participate as a member of the team liaising with the public and hospital staff in all areas on a daily basis, ensuring a positive patient experience
