British Airways Engineering Wales is home to British Airways Maintenance Cardiff’s world class engineering team, and we would like to welcome applications for Shift Manager role within our Production department.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hugely skilled and experienced team. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Engineers, Technicians and Mechanics to deliver Safety dependable and high-quality major maintenance and cabin modifications inputs on 777 and 787 aircraft.
Working in the impressive purpose-built Aircraft Maintenance facility located on Cardiff International Airport, you’ll be an integral part of BAMC’s management team, working closely with all internal departments and British Airways Engineering.

- Aircraft Licence or engineering degree/ management qualification that is relevant to the role is essential.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Proven track record in leading teams.
- Proven technical ability.
- Strong record of project delivery.
- Proven technical ability.
- Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance.
- Good knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation.
