Job Description

DEPARTMENT: Emergency Department

VACANCY: ED Admin Support

SALARY: Band 2

Would you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other?

If you answered yes, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust would love to hear from you.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the vibrant, warm and friendly Admin team within the Emergency Department at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.

The successful candidate will be required to work a rotation of shifts, working predominantly late and nights but with flexibility to cover early shifts as required. The shifts are rostered three months in advance.

This is a challenging role working alongside the Receptionists, providing admin support to the team and also covering the reception desk when required.

Successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic and motivated, have a flexible approach to working and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are often the first point of contact for patients coming into the hospital!

Please see the job description and the person specification for further details.

**Previous applicants need not re-apply**

We are always looking for enterprising and innovative approaches to the way we provide our services. We are a national centre for telemedicine and introduced telehealth to the UK offender healthcare sector and also provide the service to patients in their care homes.

Community matters to us and we are supported by 400 dedicated volunteers and have strong links with Bradford University, Craven College and Leeds City College to ensure we inspire the workforce of the future.

We want to attract staff who embrace our ‘Right Care’ behaviours of compassion, a commitment to quality of care and working together for patients – we want to make these part of our DNA.

For further information and full details of the role please see attached the job description and person specification.
