As part of the meaningful activities team, the post holder will help with the assessment and delivery of meaningful activities to patients with dementia, cognitive impairment, or distress to enhance their sense of wellbeing, self-esteem, belonging and orientation.
Under the direction of the Senior Charge Nurse, contribute to the supervision and support of the Activity Coordinators and Therapeutic Activity Manager.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
