£28,500 – £35,600 depending on experience
Full time – 37.5 scheduled weekly hours

The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Risk Governance to ensure that the BGUK MU Technology (IT) function respects and adheres to all elements of good risk management and governance and is compliant with Regulatory and Bupa requirements.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
Risk Reporting: facilitate the creation of the regular and ad-hoc reporting material required for all relevant committees in a timely manner. Presenting key findings and areas of concern to Hof Risk Governance
Develop the reporting templates required to ensure that all IT risks, control defects, incidents etc are suitably recorded in a managed Risk Register.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret large volumes of data related to IT risks. Typical examples being security incidents, vulnerabilities, service incidents, change management and compliance metrics.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data used for risk analysis and reporting. Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities to identify and rectify data inconsistencies or anomalies.
Data Modelling and Forecasting: where possible explore and introduce predictive models and forecasting techniques to assess the potential impact of IT risks on the business. Review historical data and statistical methods to anticipate future risks and identify areas where preventive controls can be implemented.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Direct experience of similar MI and Data Analyst roles in previous teams and can evidence the relevant training and certifications required to perform the role.
Must possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Experience with data modelling, forecasting, and data quality assurance is valuable.
Prior experience in data analysis roles, preferably within an IT risk or cybersecurity context would be valuable.
Essential the candidate has good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyse complex data, identify patterns, and develop actionable insights.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to create visually appealing reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations.
