In this role you would become an integral part of our team, playing a pivotal role in maintaining data security, and compliance, while upholding our company values.
Offered on a hybrid basis this role is a full time permanent 36.25hrs per week opportunity. Whilst primarily based from home there may be occasional travel to one of our offices (Boston, Peterborough, Rushden, Walsall) for training or meeting purposes, or to support your colleagues and customers.
Providing you with variety each day, this role will enable you to develop existing, and new skills as you:

Collaborate closely with the Governance and Compliance Manager to provide expert guidance on GDPR and statutory data management requirements.

Manage subject access requests, data breaches, and near misses.

Offer independent counsel on data protection to the Group, fostering a culture of GDPR adherence and best practices.

Develop robust strategies for data assurance activities within the organisation.

Advise on all matters related to personal data, driving the development of sound practices.

Revise and implement policies and procedures to showcase compliance and maintain thorough records.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

A deep understanding of data protection and information governance.

An awareness of the significance of effective data management for governance and compliance.

Exceptional organisational skills and efficiency in task management.

Proficiency in critical evaluation of solutions and risk assessment.
