Butler Rose is supporting a well-known, thriving company in the search for a Ledger Clerk to join their team based in Solihull!
This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will join their friendly team to support accurate and prompt processing of supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments to their valued suppliers.
This is a part-time, 18-month fixed term contract position.
Key duties will include:
- Track queries & complaints and drive resolution via the appropriate escalation routes within the relevant business functions
- Timely processing of all activities to support the monthly/quarterly/annual close periods
- Ensure accurate accounting for VAT, subcontractor tax & payments
- Maintain internal & external relationships
- Timely and accurate processing of subcontractor invoices
- Ensure completion of regular supplier statement reconciliations
- Maintain clean ledgers at all times
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure that all invoices are tax compliant according to company guidelines
- Ensure that purchase orders, invoices, and payments processing adhere to the approval protocols in place at the company
Required skills & experience:
- CIS experience
- Experience in a Purchase Ledger function
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Work well in a team and help out wherever needed
- COINS experience is beneficial but not essential
