Why this job matters
This role will have a focus on the delivery assurance as well as manage and monitor overall performance. Impacting 000’s of colleagues and hundreds of suppliers across multiple countries and hundreds of IT applications.
The other key focus will be actively seeking out further commercial opportunities utilising the contract with TCS to maximise the scope and do so in the quickest possible time to achieve benefit acceleration.
What you'll be doing
- Develops clear plans and rallies engagement around them with the relevant stakeholders
- Provides overarching change governance and assurance for contract delivery, enforcing the appropriate quality gates
- Acts as a single point of contract regarding delivery for internal & external partners
- Manages contract delivery risk, escalating issues as necessary
Skills & Experience you’ll have
- Experience in IT/Service project delivery with a mature CX focus
- Strong experience engaging at senior manager level
- Experienced practitioner of formal project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, APMP, ITIL) in Telco environment
- Worked alongside colleagues through a period of intense pressure
- Delivered a project ahead of time
- Advocating and applying technology where it has not been used previously
- Coordinated the work of colleagues or team to fit within a broader programme of work
- Tackled process/policy obstacles to delivery
