To manage and grow sales through European Region distribution network to ensure company expectations are met.
Expected Outcomes/Job Functions:
Manage sales territory to meet or exceed sales goals
Independently manage accounts with minimal supervisor. Develops and implements successful distribution programs.
Meet regularly with all distributors in territory
Form strategic partnerships with key distributors in territory
Identify key distributors in terms of current/future strategic partnering opportunities.
Maintain and where appropriate grow commodity business to support strategic partnerships and to control market access from competitors.
Understand and support continuous improvement initiatives through project identification, providing voice of the customer information and general support of projects
Gather, analyze and present market and competitive intelligence.
Develop an effective working relationship with all departments within the company.

Education and Experience: (minimum requirements)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years sales experience
- Experience in selling through distribution
- A basic understanding of financial concepts and principals
- Industry knowledge helpful

· Verbal and written language fluency in both English and German (?) required

This job is primarily performed in a home office environment. The noise level in the office is generally moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently interacts with individuals on the plant floor, near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.

Communication Expectations:
The position routinely requires verbal and written communication in English in order to complete the daily business requirements. Verbal communications include, but are not limited to: team meetings to discuss daily department requirements, work instructions to team members, presentations to management or customers, project meetings with peers and management, communications with peers and management, and safety instructions and training. Written communications include, but are not limited to: department paperwork, projects updates, safety walkthroughs, purchase orders, continuous improvement projects, and communications with peers, customers, and management.
