The Role
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to join the team of this start-up. You will be joining a mission driven and dynamic work environment as we scale our business. You will be central to that growth, shaping our culture and strategy. You'll be an early team member of a funded startup within an established institution - an extremely rare opportunity. You will be an enabler for our growth, working predominantly within the talent and HR space, but also with our MD and wider teams within the FT to enable us to deliver our business goals through investment in our talent. To be successful in this role, you'll have experience of working within a talent management or HR background within a Consultancy business. You will be joining a fast-paced and dynamic work environment as we scale our consulting business. You will be central to that growth, shaping how it succeeds.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for supporting Management on talent management and staffing activities to deliver client projects, talent development, recruiting and business growth. Activities will include:
- Collaborate with the HR, Learning & Talent Team to on team training and development to deliver the right approach for our teams.
- Project Management of Talent Initiatives
- Managing performance review process
- Collaborate with Managers on promotions and progressions
- Collaborating with the FT's internal HR & Recruitment functions to recruit, develop and support FTS talent and supporting the process from a system and compliance perspective
- Managing new starter on-boarding processes
Required Skills / Experience
- High level of emotional intelligence
- Experience in coaching / talent development
- 5+ years of experience in a People role, in professional services and/or a fast growing team in a start-up / scale-up environment.
- Strong organisational, planning, analysis, and problem up-solving skills;
- Confident self-starter with strong work ethic, able to work independently with limited supervision - happy to take total ownership.
