At the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, a group of passionate and determined people work to design, develop, manufacture and race the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and rising star George Russell.
The Team has set a new benchmark for Formula One success during the sport’s current Hybrid era, winning consecutive Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the Constructors’ Championship in 2021.
You will be working closely with our well-established HR Business Partner Team to prioritise initiatives and to ensure seamless delivery to the wider Mercedes F1 Team. Supporting on a range of HR initiatives, you will assist, coordinate, and support the execution of our people strategy and provide 1st line employee relations support to the wider team.
The role:
Supporting the HR Business Partners to provide an excellent service to stakeholders, across a number of topics including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, talent management
Pulling together regular people data for the HR team and wider stakeholders and continuously makes improvements to our data and reporting.
Coaches’ managers and supports employees on HR policy, practice, employee relations matters and employment legislation.
Provides full project administration support on key change projects.
What we are looking for:
Degree and CIPD level 5 (or higher)
Experience working in HR within a fast paced environment
Sound knowledge and application of UK employment law
Strong analytical skills: can manipulate data into meaningful information, using tables, graphs, and other informative graphics
High level communication skills both verbal and written is essential
Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives
Strong relationship building and influencing skills
Is curious and asks questions to understand processes and how we can be more efficient
Ability to work with strong attention to detail and high standards, whilst still working at pace
