UWE Bristol Centre for Sport has a fantastic Internship opportunity open to UWE Domicile Undergraduate students. At UWE Bristol Sport we are looking for a motivated and creative student to undertake this 8 week internship, focused on developing UWE Bristol Sport’s Gym and MOVE Buddy Scheme.
The Buddy Scheme aims to help those who may like to go to the gym or get involved in MOVE activities but may be experiencing low confidence, anxiety or loneliness. The Buddy Scheme aims to recruit students as Buddies and pair them with participants who would benefit from extra support.
You’ll get to research other successful Buddy Schemes, conduct research with UWE Bristol students and create a UWE Bristol Sport Buddy Scheme.
Our vision is to ‘Provide every student with the opportunity to play sport or take part in healthy activity at a time and level appropriate to them’. We provide a range of activities that are open to students, staff and the community. We are looking for a motivated, proactive and creative Undergraduate student to help take our provision to the next level and be as inclusive as possible.
Whilst an interest in sport, health and physical activity is advantageous, it is not essential.
