Job Description
Initially, you will work with the EDMS Manager to develop your knowledge of the system and the requirements of managing patient information to ensure that the requisite quality of records is maintained. You will play a key role in assisting with the formulation of new working practices and procedures and, once established in post, will provide routine support to the medical records management team in identifying operational issues and areas of concern. We are looking for motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and flair for problem-solving, who are comfortable with identifying and resolving problems where appropriate, as well escalating issues as required.
As a Data Administrator, you will be joining a new team within Medical Records that will oversee the management of patient documentation held on the Trust’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) as well as using other key computer systems to support the wider Medical Records team in fulfilling its central role in enabling our new digital working practices.
