About the Role
The Motion Designer is an integral role within the creative and content team, responsible for bringing campaigns to life and creating engaging content across all channels.
You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional creative to bring to life our advertising, social, organic content, website, and internal comms.
A hugely creative role, you'll work across all HeliosX brands and all areas of the business, finding creative solutions, creating customer first content and ensuring consistent brand identities.
Responsibilities
- Concept, propose and execute innovative, high quality motion design solutions to help deliver key performance metrics
- Have a key focus on social media to become our creative social expert - understand what best in class looks like and collaborate with Growth to run innovative experiments.
- Ensure that Brand guidelines are adhered to - championing Brand vision and values and acting as a guardian.
- Collaborate with a wider team of video editors, illustrators and graphic designers to bring ideas to life where necessary.
- Keep abreast of motion and design innovations, trends and competitor output to share with the wider Creative Team.
- Manage multiple projects to tight timeframes, ensuring work is delivered on time and to Brand standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create, develop and edit premium platform-specific content.
- Collaborate closely across departments to deliver exceptional creative responses to their briefs.
- Work with the Growth team to understand and implement learnings/insights into future creative.
- Support Senior Graphic Designer and Head of Creative Content with delivery of BAU workload and special projects.
- Work across multiple projects at the same time and be able to produce high standards of finished work in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Experience working on paid and organic, social-first design.
- Understanding of social design trends, social content and paid social formats.
- You're comfortable working independently (delivering design) and in collaboration with others to discover creative solutions in response to briefs.
- Experience working as motion designer for in in-house creative or agency team
- Proficiency with Adobe creative suite, particularly After effects and Premiere
- Demonstrate original thinking and exceptional design.
- You are positive and committed with a flexible approach to complex problems.
- You enjoy concepting creative ideas for, and working across, multiple channels.
- Experience working with wider creative team including creative specialists (Videographers, graphic designers etc)
- You have excellent time management and you know how to manage multiple priorities, breaking large projects into manageable pieces.
- Confident using data and insights from previous projects to inform future creative.
- You have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
