Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants at a primary school in the Chester area. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support students with their learning, providing one-on-one assistance when necessary
- Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom activities
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
- Foster the social and emotional development of students
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (or related field)
- Strong passion for education and working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, tutoring, mentoring) is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories is advantageous
